Ninomae Ina’nis and SUSHIRO HONG KONG Team Up for the First-Ever hololive English Collaboration Starting August 13!

Thank you very much for continually supporting COVER Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "COVER Corp."), hololive production, and especially our talents. COVER Corp. hereby announces that multiple individuals (hereinafter referred to as the “perpetrators”), who committed acts of rights infringement including defamation and slander, against the company and its affiliated talents have been identified and appropriate action has been taken. [Criminal Action] Unauthorized production and sale of merchandise An individual who manufactured and sold merchandise using illustrations of COVER Corp. affiliated talents without obtaining the proper authorization from COVER Corp. was reported to the police in order to pursue criminal liability. The report was officially accepted, and the perpetrator was identified through a police investigation. The case has since been referred to the Public Prospectors Office, where proceedings are currently underway to pursue criminal charges against the perpetrator for suspected copyright infringement. [Civil Action] Insulting remarks towards affiliated talent A social media account was found to have posts that contained insulting remarks targeting a COVER Corp. affiliated talent, infringing upon the talent’s personal rights and emotional well-being. A petition for the disclosure of the sender’s information was granted by the courts, leading to the successful identification of the perpetrator, with whom the following settlement, including the following conditions, was reached: the payment of monetary compensation for damages, an apology for the infringement, and commitment not to engage in similar conduct in the future. In addition to the cases outlined above, a number of legal proceedings are currently ongoing in response to other defamation and infringements of rights cases targeting COVER Corp. and its affiliated talents. COVER Corp. will continue to take firm action against such conduct through not only civil remedies but also criminal action where deemed appropriate.&nbsp; COVER Corp. will continue to address defamation and other rights infringements to ensure that all talents affiliated with the company and fans alike can engage in activities and enjoy content respectively in a safe and secure environment.
